We have had to forego several events so far in 2020 but we look forward to welcoming everyone back in the near future.
We will release a calendar of events as soon as possible.
As you can imagine, we are anxious to keep this beautiful church with its wall paintings and garden in good repair and hopefully put a little by for research and perhaps an archaeological dig or a symposium in future years.
It costs £6,000 a year to maintain the church and churchyard and a 1000 year old building is a little needy!
This year we are launching a Subscription Scheme for Friends of St.Mary’s.
For £25 a year you can help to keep the church in the state it is today and also help towards discovering more of its history. In return, and as a big thank you, you will receive advance notice of our events and a three monthly newsletter.
Forms and payment are on our website and also at the church.
We also have DVDs on the restoration for sale and a small booklet on the history of village and church as well as greetings cards.
Please become a Friend and make a difference to this unique place.
Lost photos and notes have been discovered at the Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House in King's Lynn. All the items have been generously donated to the Friends Of St Mary's.

Read More...It is with much regret that we are having to follow government advice and close St Mary's church until restrictions are lifted. We find it impossible to safeguard our volunteers in these difficult times. This also means that we have had to postpone the series of events we had planned for this year.
